5/19 - Pokemon Cards… yes

 Hiii chat!! Big fun this past weekend, I went to my first card show!! I have been getting back into collecting pokemon cards + I want to make some decks to battle. Usually Instagram recommends me events that happen like across the country but for ONCE I got a recommendation for a card show in Attleboro!! I was suuuper excited as it was free admission and I was excited to see what is was like!! 

My goals are to just find really cute cards and to get some cute accessories and packs!! But I actually had a pretty busy Saturday!!

First: the code!! I took my new Prisila pieces out and about!! These are TMGX which I got after talking with Cindy who recommended it!! I will still wear my light yellow pieces out but I def am excited… I also am getting a split bang soon so I can try to mix the pieces!! How exciting!!

My Saturday tasks involved a lot!! First I stopped over at the Miniso in the mall near my rock climbing gym as the really cute manager at the Miniso at the mall near me was trying to help me find more Chiikawa merch!! She is such a sweetheart!! They did have the hachiware bag I didn’t have and I realized I didn’t have a bag to carry anything… so I went ahead and bought it LOL. Then I headed over to the card show!!

My initial search was for the Rika and Briar cards, which I was able to find both illustration cards of Briar!! I also bought a Pikachu deck box, and then got the prismatic evolutions binder set and eevee pouch set. I know people are in it for the rare cards, but I was super excited about the accessories (I got the SPC for the eevee deck box LMAOO). The few vendors who I had bought from earlier were staring at me like “wow u went crazy”… which I did. I did find out both prismatic sets were sold to me for 15 dollars less than market value tho so I was very happy!! I totes forgot to take pictures of my haul lol…

I then went grocery shopping and was about to go home and take all my gal off, but my friend wanted to meet up for lunch and have me and my roomie meet his GF!!! So ofc the roomies gotta assemble and show up to the function in our true forms 

Lunch was SOOOO GOOD!! And then we went to the mall and then karaoke!! And then I learned about bar crawls. I hate bar crawls. Everyone was so loud and disruptive and ruined the karaoke experience for like 15 minutes. And EVERYONE WAS ON A BAR CRAWL…. AHHH

Also, I was wearing my loveil daily lenses and these were pretty good throughout the day!! Love daily lenses…

And then Sunday!!!!!!

I actually didn’t plan to go to the card show again, but John and Tori wanted to meet up and go so ofc I went again!! I looove friendship and I had some extra cash to go and grab some more cute cards. I went back to the vendor who sold me the pikachu deck box and bought lots of cute Japanese illustration cards. I’ve noticed if it’s Japanese it’s cheaper so if you want cute cards… Japanese. 

I also got a really cool Morpeko V Union… and a few packs!! My friends got a lot of good stuff too!! Here is a pic of our haul. 

I pulled a shiny wigglytuff and a wailord illustration cards! So I think this was a pretty good haul. I have a looot of organizing to do these next few weeks.

And I have to stop myself from buying any more cards or things. Today actually marks a no buy challenge that I’m doing with Elin!! We will see how long it lasts. I have an anime con this weekend… we will see. I may force myself to carry cash to use or just work on my self control at the dealers room LOL

5/13 - The Past Week

WewWWWWWW it's another blog where I talk about some stuff this week. Life has been kind of crazy these past few weeks so I am like... scattered on trying to get things done.

First off, finally wore my diable baiser onepiece for Wednesday, I think it is... OK. The shape is kind of off, and it's made with fabric that is used by other fast fashion brands (I literally saw a girl at Zenkaikon with a skirt of the same print and she said hot topic?????? so. wild.). I think I'd definitely want to get this altered in a way so its more flattering. It does go through the washer fine.

Also, finally got an ISO!!!! A scooter LMAOOOOOOO... I sometimes want to find specific things at thrift stores and I love to make it a challenge to find something in person vs online. So I was super stoked to find this for 7 bucks! It is defnitely rusted and cannot fold down, but it's ok. I was able to pick up a bike lock to make sure I can tie it to poles when I have to hop into a store. Yesterday I took it fo ra spin around the block to run some errands and I was able to hit 3 different spots in the same amount of time it would be to hit 1 if I walked LMAO. 

I also am trying to find more... analog things. I did see an electric scooter but I've ridden those before and they're kind of terrifying to me, so I will just stick with my scooter.

And THEN!! We get to lenses. I picked up some dailies from loveil upon recc, and I really like them! I have tried out the Black Bijou(above) and Mermaid Aqua (below). I really like the 15mm lenses so I tihink I'm going to find some more of those to wear... they're so cute. The mermaid aqua are also really nice for when I want to not wear glasses and still have a bit of a dolly eye look... a bit. I think also having blue eyes and using lenses that are made for dark eyes changes the vibe and some look good and some do not LMAO.

And then no other crazy codes, this was my "I have 30 mins to get ready to make it to bingo" look, so I threw on my crazy tribe fit, did some simple make and left the house. I realized my god... my tan has faded...and I like having the tan LMAO... I did reapply it yesterday.

Also lots of compliments on my Usagi bags! I have my purse but also have my big bag and my lucky charm Usagi for Bingo purposes. The bag can definitely store a lot!

Bingo was good! We went to celebrate my friend's birthday!! I didn't take too many picture because too focused on Bingo. I won 300 dollars, which was how much I brought to the Casino, so I basically went to the Casino for free LOL.

And then ofc... steak frites.I also went to karaoke again on Sunday, and drank 3 mocktails! Mocktails are so good.

This upcoming week is a dog sitting week, and then con prep for next week because AHHH I HAVE TO RESTYLE A WHOLE WIG AND IRON EVERYTHING!!! That's the goal for this weekend.

5/6 - bottom lashes

 

heyyyy chat. Blogging from my iPad as I’m too lazy to open my computer. I a, charging this bad boy to go to a drink and draw tonight, trying to get myself to draw takisabi again after not really drawing these past few years. I think I’m these depressing times takisabi will bring back some fun. 

Anyways, wanted to talk make and looks I’ve been wearing. These past few weeks have been more casual vibes as I’ve just been like…. Tired and stressed about a lot, but still gotta slay. 

 

I have been very into the cap and Chiikawa tracksuits. These are from honeys and they’re super cute. I’ve got the main three’s versions, and maybe one day I’ll get momongas… momonga has been growing on Me…l I kind of hope the other characters get tracksuits too hehe I love them all so much. 

But even though the clothes have been casual I’ve been trying to work on my makeup. I got the lenses and now I’m like… tryna get the bottom lashes going. I’ll talk a bit about the two recent looks lol

Crazy pink lenses look. This was on Saturday I believe? I got some cheapo lashes to try out and they’re ok, but i basically did my go to eye look with a more cool toned droop plus bottom lash and I was shocked it looked…. Not weird. I was kind of shocked actually…

This look was me trying to following an ageha make tutorial, specifically a sakurina one. It makes sense I follow ageha mag tutorials … as I like ageha… duh. The only difference I think I did here was tight lining my upper eye because it just looks better to me. Also sakurina had no real top lashes in this tutorial. Very confusing. Also she put kn the fake lash before the eyeliner which is honestly kind of smart… will play around with more. I also need to find a Rin eye make tutorial to follow soon that would be so fun… she’s my top fave model but I love all the ageha models sm. 

Also these lenses get me a lot of compliments! They’re still like in your face but not as much as the pink ones, I wore these to bingo last night and it was fun fr… also top lashes are diamond lash,not super spiky but still cute.

To the point I said above…I think I look weird with no lenses and false bottom lashes lol. If you notice I usually miss one of three things in a gal look (nails lenses or bottom lashes) and I think if i drop one of the three… it’s gonna be nails from here on out. Anyways now to scrub the bottom lash glue off my face lmaoooooooo
