5/19 - Pokemon Cards… yes

 Hiii chat!! Big fun this past weekend, I went to my first card show!! I have been getting back into collecting pokemon cards + I want to make some decks to battle. Usually Instagram recommends me events that happen like across the country but for ONCE I got a recommendation for a card show in Attleboro!! I was suuuper excited as it was free admission and I was excited to see what is was like!! 

My goals are to just find really cute cards and to get some cute accessories and packs!! But I actually had a pretty busy Saturday!!

First: the code!! I took my new Prisila pieces out and about!! These are TMGX which I got after talking with Cindy who recommended it!! I will still wear my light yellow pieces out but I def am excited… I also am getting a split bang soon so I can try to mix the pieces!! How exciting!!

My Saturday tasks involved a lot!! First I stopped over at the Miniso in the mall near my rock climbing gym as the really cute manager at the Miniso at the mall near me was trying to help me find more Chiikawa merch!! She is such a sweetheart!! They did have the hachiware bag I didn’t have and I realized I didn’t have a bag to carry anything… so I went ahead and bought it LOL. Then I headed over to the card show!!

My initial search was for the Rika and Briar cards, which I was able to find both illustration cards of Briar!! I also bought a Pikachu deck box, and then got the prismatic evolutions binder set and eevee pouch set. I know people are in it for the rare cards, but I was super excited about the accessories (I got the SPC for the eevee deck box LMAOO). The few vendors who I had bought from earlier were staring at me like “wow u went crazy”… which I did. I did find out both prismatic sets were sold to me for 15 dollars less than market value tho so I was very happy!! I totes forgot to take pictures of my haul lol…

I then went grocery shopping and was about to go home and take all my gal off, but my friend wanted to meet up for lunch and have me and my roomie meet his GF!!! So ofc the roomies gotta assemble and show up to the function in our true forms 

Lunch was SOOOO GOOD!! And then we went to the mall and then karaoke!! And then I learned about bar crawls. I hate bar crawls. Everyone was so loud and disruptive and ruined the karaoke experience for like 15 minutes. And EVERYONE WAS ON A BAR CRAWL…. AHHH

Also, I was wearing my loveil daily lenses and these were pretty good throughout the day!! Love daily lenses…

And then Sunday!!!!!!

I actually didn’t plan to go to the card show again, but John and Tori wanted to meet up and go so ofc I went again!! I looove friendship and I had some extra cash to go and grab some more cute cards. I went back to the vendor who sold me the pikachu deck box and bought lots of cute Japanese illustration cards. I’ve noticed if it’s Japanese it’s cheaper so if you want cute cards… Japanese. 

I also got a really cool Morpeko V Union… and a few packs!! My friends got a lot of good stuff too!! Here is a pic of our haul. 

I pulled a shiny wigglytuff and a wailord illustration cards! So I think this was a pretty good haul. I have a looot of organizing to do these next few weeks.

And I have to stop myself from buying any more cards or things. Today actually marks a no buy challenge that I’m doing with Elin!! We will see how long it lasts. I have an anime con this weekend… we will see. I may force myself to carry cash to use or just work on my self control at the dealers room LOL
