1/4 - The struggles of putting together a co*de + Friday Yummies

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well!! I wanted to document yesterday's co*de as well as just yap about the struggle of putting it together, and also wanted to share the food I ate yesterday because I had so much good food!!!

First, lets get into yapping about this code, shall we?

Honestly, I was nooooot happy with putting this co*de together, but I think in the end it came out OK. This setup is pretty weird on me, like it was made for someone with a larger torso, or it miiight fit better if I use a sticky bra? I ended up just using my coat to hide the fact you could see my bra from behind. Another thing I was having trouble coordinating was the pinks. The pink bows on the top are such a unique pink in my wardrobe I doooon't have a lot that matches. I did try putting on my dear my love boots but my feet were just not feeling them lol.

And don't even get me started on the wig!!! I actually had another wig come in and I tried it on and it just looked so off. 

I realized that this bang style + this color reaaaaally washes me out, which is crazy because I have done this haircolor for YEARS... YEARS.... I just threw on my other wig and was like... its fine... its fine... I think ever since I got my prisila wig pieces I've been warming up to doing like... a darker honey blonde?! Which is kind of crazy. I think this wig is gonna be a wig I hold onto for a little bit, but may end up getting donated. I've been on the search for more yellow-blonde wigs, but it's quite difficult!!! 

Once I put on the second wig, I was kind of feeling off, but then I was like "I kind of look like I'm giving Rin in a Prisila wig right now." even though I am nowhere close to the beauty and style of Rin!!!! So I felt happy. I think I might look into like... some full wigs from prisila in LiYe in the future. I feel like pale blonde hair is in right now... and I just don't like how it looks on me! Maybe if I put on self tanner it'd look better, but now now I'll avoid it. Also these bangs just... no thank u!!!

I think also my frustration with putting together a co*de yesterday was the fact I have a co*de idea I want to wear TOMORROW!!! But I wanted to wear it today, but I was like no... this is for Sunday's bingo.

Ok, now onto the yummy food we had!! Some of my friends I went out for dinner before we went to karaoke, and we went to Wara Wara in Providence!! I don't eat Ramen, but I do enjoy the small plate options at japanese places!! I got the crispy chicken skin + the hanger steak.

The crispy chicken skin was so good!!! I know it's chicken, but it kind of tasted like a pork rind... a chicken rind? But the hanger steak???? That was the best steak I had in a LONG time, and it was only like 16-17 dollars!!  Why do we pay so much for filet mignon when hangar steak is right there?! There was a distinct taste I've only tasted with a steak gosh... almost 7-9 years ago?! It was so good, I definitely want to come back here again just for the steak.

And Karaoke was good! I joined my friend Caty for dry January this year, so I just ended up drinking lemonade. It was nice to not wake up with a hangover this morning 😂 I don't typically go to karaoke on fridays because it gets packed, but since we didn't go for new year's day this week, we went yesterday! 

Today is a rest day in my rady tracksuit, but also working on putting together tomorrow's outfit for bingo!!!! Tomorrow is the first day of bingo of the year at the local bingo hall, I don't expect to win but I do wanna dress up in a cute floral fit because I can!!
