3/17 - The weekend of florals + B I N G O...

 Hi Chat!! I honestly wanted to blog about this weekend and there's going to be a lot of blabbing about bingo and casinos at the end, but I can also talk about the floral fits I wore this weekend!

I hadn't worn my florals in a bit, and I had lunch plans with my friend Dab on Saturday, so I put together a quick and a bit more simple outfit. I have been experimenting with lace front wigs as I am too lazy to dye my hair... it seems this color is a hit! I really liked it, it's giving Iori from idolmaster (I'm not super duper into it but I do like her design lol). I already bought some dye to re-blonde myself for summer, but I might try this color again in the future. 

Lace fronts are painful and I'm still very new to them, but I definitely want to try to make them work more. Once we are properly moved in I want to get more into wig styling. 

This ma*rs set is super cute, but the white part is sheet so it comes off more light pink, and I realized I don't have a lot of like light colored leg things... but I was like... we are going to lunch. I also used some accessories I diyed a coupled a months ago. I was going to wear the hat but it actually is a little small on my head.... LMAOOOOOO. So I may buy a new hat with a wider circumference so I can wear one. 

We got indian food up in cambridge!! It was good. I am really enjoying doing 1 on 1 catchups with my friends I haven't seen awhile. I love group settings but a 1 on 1 catchup is so good, I love just being able to listen to one person and not risk the conversation getting interrupted LMAOOOOO. Both Dab and my other friend Dani have inspired me to try to get back into going to cons more, which was the opposite of my plans this year lmao but I also started playing Fire Emblem Three Houses and have 4 outfits I want to wear already (and 1 I've worn and want to modify lol)

Once I got home, I met one of my neighbors as he was hosting a yard party and he invited me! I didn't take pictures but I changed and took off my wig and put on my grookey onesie lol. 

Then, I changed into my other floral setup and put on my prisila wigs (which I really need to pause on because I have a small bald spot now). My friend Jordan and I met up with some friends at a mexican joint for dinner and then we saw a local production of Something Rotten!! Our friend Amanda was in it. It was very cheesy but all of the actors were super talented. Shakespeare if you're reading this somehow you were great and looked amazing and I was like wow. Amazing. 

This setup might benefit from like a waist belt... but I didn't have any. The hairbows looked a LOT better in the pigtail format. Big bow on flat hair looks a bit off tbh. Also my nails fell off and I was not putting on another set!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I might consider getting acrylic nails or gel nails again. 

At some point it turned midnight so it was officially the 16th, which was my 27th birthday!!! Yay!! We got back late and I passed out and prepared to go out for my birthday festivities :)

Ok so none of this stuff from here is directly gal related. If you have a gambling addiction I would click off now! I talk a lot about Bingo here LOL

For my birthday this year, I didn't really have any ideas of what I wanted to do. This month has been crazy. This year has been crazy it's only March. Last Sunday I went to bingo and my friend Kayla asked if I wanted to go to Foxwoods for bingo for my birthday and I was like... you know what that is so fun. On the 16th there was a special bingo with $2025 USD payouts for normal games, and special games had other things. 

Ok, so with Foxwoods, you can buy paper sheets, but also tablets. You cannot fuck up bingo on the tablet, but you basically have to pay for two tablet packages to get one. I don't get it, but I did it because many people had told me to get it. It's really simple, you just press the ball when it comes up and it auto marks, and it tells you when you have a bingo and you need to call it. It also helps to check if you missed any numbers on the paper!!! I bought the largest package on both the paper and tablet... it was 184 dollars.................... Wowie... but for the potential winnings, it made sense. There are cheaper packages but you don't play all the games if you do that. I think we actually didn't get 1 of the games but it was like 10 bucks so we bought it as they walked around before it started and I got a few extra ones.

there were FOURTY TWO GAMES IN TOTAL... We didn't do warmups so we only played 32. Doors open 4 hours in advance and we were not doing that. 

Something important to note, you also get to see the next ball before it's called, but you can't call bingo until it's called.

Compared to the local dive bars I play at, this is much more intense. Much more quiet, not enough time to even celebrate a win or just chat. Just like 4 hours of straight bingo. It was HEAVEN. I was happy to go even if I didn't win.

.. BUT I DID. HOLY SHIT CHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm surprised I didn't die. I wasn't even paying attention but realized I was two away on a tablet... then 1... then the ball I needed showed up as the next ball and I said "Kayla... cover your ears.". And I do a huge Bingo yell, but I toned it down a TINY bit for this event, but I still made some people jump. You basically yell bingo loud so they can hear you and lift up the paper or tablet you won on. 2025 dollars before taxes... and NO ONE ELSE HAD GOTTEN A BINGO SO I DIDNT HAVE TO SPLIT THE POT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

However that does mean I have to pay taxes since it's more then 1200 in one game. (I could be wrong but it's like if you win more than 1200 in one game you have to report it.) Luckily I had taxes taken out right there and I was able to get 1500 and a tax form I now have to keep until 2026 tax season LMAOOOOOOOOO. 

It was like super exciting, I was shaking so bad, and a lot of people clapped for me!! Kayla told them it was my birthday and they were like omg happy birthday!! I fucking did a bow to everyone like a silly guy I was like LAK:LDSK:AS:LGDJA:LGJDSG:LSAJFD... and then I didn't win any more bingo. But honestly... even if I hadn't won I'd be happy to just be there.

Overall thoughts: Very very fun. Will make this a reoccurring trip on a not so frequent basis. I also want to get more friends to come with me just once!!!

I don't talk about my gambling addiction a lot, but I definitely have a slight gambling addiction when it comes to slot machines and gachas, so I tend to not put myself near them. We did stop at them after but I went in there like "Ok, I will lose all this money but if I end up getting a good payout i'll make myself stop" I did not get a good payout lol. Bingo is different because it's the urge to daub the paper, and its like oddly calming. Casinos can be dangerous so I don't go too too often, but if I go with some friends who can steer my straight to bingo, it'll be OK! :D

I got a free sundae for my birthday... :) After this we did some slots and I lost money (do not. do slots. ever.) and then we went home! I got dressed up in a dress for karaoke and drinks with friends, but totally forgot to take good pics...................................................................... whoops.

Anyways, onto the new week! I might not blog until next week, I have zenkaikon!!! It won't rlly be a gal blog but it's my blog I do what I want lol.
